My name is Greg Willson.

You have been put on earth for a reason. I help people discover those reasons and work them into their daily life.

I do that through leading a church called Redeemer in Manchester, through providing coaching and other resources. That is also the fuel behind writing, music, photos and drawings.

A human made fully alive by God, living out of the calling given by Him, is an unstoppable force of love unleashed in a starved world. This calling is different for each of us. For me, a big part of it meant moving to another country and planting a church.

We moved from the US to Manchester to work with a church to plant another church in this city. Manchester is an amazing city with so many great things going on, and it is also a spiritually poor city that desperately needs the gospel. We ended up planting what would be called Redeemer in Chorlton, an artsy bohemian neighbourhood of south Manchester.

The story behind that story is, well, a different story altogether. It is true that God has a story for each one of us. And each one of us are invited by Him to live into it. Amazingly, He also asks us to take up the pen and join Him in how He works out His good in our lives and our world.

I get to be married to Christina and father to Colin. I also enjoy other obsessions like the nerdy parts of coffee, jazz (mostly from the 50s-70s), cold war spy novels, and the art of Georges Rouault.
